Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to get rid of those unwanted suggestions and search results on Instagram, allowing you to focus more on the photos and profiles that really matter to you.

Tap Add a new blocked account, type in the username, give it a custom name (i.e. Instagram Suggestion) then scroll down to Show on Account Feed and select Never. Boom!

To disable suggested posts, you'll need to be on the app. To disable search history, you'll need to be logged out of your account. In the main app, tap on the three dots in the top right corner and select Account Settings. On this page, scroll down until you see Privacy and Security followed by a list of options that allow you to change your settings for things like notifications or location services.
