How to get rid of those pesky system apps on Android that you don't need or want!

There are some great system apps that ship with your Android device. There are also others you don't need and probably never use, but can't get rid of without rooting your device, which most users aren't familiar with (and don't want to have to root their devices). Luckily, there's an easier way to get rid of those pesky system apps using an app called App Manager by Androlibs Team on the Google Play Store.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Navigate to Settings > Apps. You will see a list of all the applications currently installed. Scroll down until you find an application that is marked with System in the App Info column. Tap this application and then tap Uninstall. After you confirm that you would like to uninstall this app, it will be removed from your phone.

Step 2: Tap Apps & Notifications

-Go back to the main Settings page, and then tap the Apps & Notifications menu item. -Scrolls down until you find the app that you wish to uninstall, and then tap it. Tap Uninstall at the top of the screen (the app will also say Uninstall)

Step 3: The App Is selected you wish to uninstall now

Select the app and click the Uninstall button. This will prompt you for confirmation, so make sure this is really what you want to do. Click OK and it will then be removed from your device. Make sure you are happy with this decision before continuing as there is no going back. If at any point in the process you decide to go back, just click Cancel instead of OK and restart the process.

Step 4: Press Uninstall Updates

4. Press Uninstall Updates. This will bring up a list of all the updates you've installed, complete with the date they were installed and the size in kilobytes. Select the app(s) you wish to uninstall and press Uninstall at the bottom right hand corner.

Step 5: Confirm Uninstalling

Tap 'Uninstall' if the app is not listed. You will then be prompted with a pop-up window asking if you're sure. Confirm your decision by tapping 'Yes'. If the app is listed, tap it and follow the prompts to uninstall it.
