Spotify offers many ways to enjoy your favorite music, but one of the best features, and one that can be easily overlooked, is the ability to view the lyrics of a song while you listen to it. It’s simple to do once you know how! Check out this quick and easy guide to find out how to view the lyrics on Spotify right now!

Open the Spotify app and start playing a song

In order to view the lyrics of a song you must first open up Spotify. Once you have opened up Spotify click on Browse which is found near the top left corner of your screen. This will bring you to a page with every song that is currently in your play list. In order to get lyrics, click on the downward arrow next to Details which is located next to each song.

Tap on the Now Playing bar at the bottom of the screen

To view a song's lyrics, tap on the Now Playing bar at the bottom of your screen. Select View Lyrics from the list of options that pops up. You'll now see the song's lyrics appear in a white box over the music player. You can scroll through the lyrics by swiping left or right with one finger or use two fingers to pinch and zoom out. Once you've found the verse you want to hear, swipe down from above or below it to pause playback so you can read along without music playing in the background.

If you don't see the lyrics, tap on the Lyrics button

Once you tap that button, you'll see a list of all the songs in your playlist with lyrics. If there's a song that doesn't have lyrics, it will say no lyrics. To get back to the artist page or playlist, just tap on Back at the top left corner of your screen. When you're done viewing lyrics for one song, tap Done at the bottom of your screen.
