The Best Instagram Tips and Tricks to Help You Up Your Game
Instagram Tips And Tricks

You’re already using Instagram, right? Maybe you don’t even consider yourself an Instagram person, but when you look at your feed, you can definitely spot some influencers that have taken their game to the next level. If you want to step up your own photo game and take full advantage of all Instagram has to offer, start by checking out the best Instagram tips and tricks below.

Take good photos

Tip #1: Make sure the photo looks good in your camera's view finder. If it doesn't, you can fix it by changing the brightness, contrast, or color.

Tip #2: Look at what's in the background of your shot. Is there clutter? Get rid of it! If you're taking a picture of someone, make sure their hair is combed and their clothes are clean.

Use Hashtags

#1 Use the location filter- This is an easy way to show off where you are. It can also be a great way for followers that live in your area to find you.

#2 Tag other Instagram users- If you really like a photo, tag the person who posted it on Instagram. Not only will it give them more exposure but they'll likely return the favor by liking your photo.

Engage with other accounts

What do you think? Have you tried any of these tips? What are some of your favorite accounts to follow on IG? Let me know in the comments! If you want, leave a link to your IG account so we can all follow you.

A question that I get often is what apps should I use? My personal favorites are: VSCO, Afterlight, Litely and Facetune. These apps have been my go-to for editing since they provide a lot of variety. Try them out, they're worth it!

Show personalitypersonality

1) Use hashtags- Make sure you are tagging your posts on Instagram with relevant hashtags that will help your post get seen. If you are posting a picture of your dog, it might be helpful to tag it #dogsofinstagram or #dogsareawesome. 2) Get personal- Try not to take too many posed pictures of yourself. Instead, take photos of what's going on around you in the moment.
