How to Get iOS 8 Emojis on Any Samsung device without Root
If you own an iPhone and use iMessage, then you probably have some friends with an Android device who can’t participate in conversations as fully as you can. That’s because Apple has blocked the ability for third-party developers to create their own iOS 8 emojis, so only iOS users can see them in messages. Fortunately, there’s a workaround, and it’s really easy to do! Here’s how to get iOS 8 emojis on any Samsung device without root.
1) Back Up Your Device
The first thing you need to do before anything is back up your device. You never know when something could go wrong and a factory reset would be the best way to fix it. There are many ways of backing up your data, but we recommend using the built in backup software on the phone.
2) Install an Emoji Keyboard
Install an emoji keyboard app like GO Keyboard and tap the globe button, then tap Emoji at the top of the screen. Scroll until you find the emoji you want and tap it to add it to your text field.
3) Use a Third-Party App
There are a lot of third-party apps that can help you get emojis from iOS 12 on any Samsung device. One of the most popular is called MojiP Beta and it costs $1.99. There are also other apps like MojiMaker, which is free, but they don't work as well and have less features than MojiP Beta.
4) Install an Emoji Font
The first step is downloading an emoji font. We recommend downloading one of the following fonts: M+ Fonts, Symbola, or Noto Color Emoji.
Once the font has downloaded and installed on your phone, you need to enable it in your settings menu. Go into Settings -> Display -> Fonts -> Enable the font you just downloaded. Now go back and look at your keyboard and see if the new symbols are there!
5) Use a Custom ROM
A custom ROM is a modified version of the operating system that allows you to change the software, add new features and customize your phone. The most well-known custom ROMs are CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, and Lineage OS. You can learn how to install them by following instructions for your specific device.
