Iphone Tips and tricks

The iPhone revolutionized the cell phone industry when it was first introduced, and the trend continues today with each new iteration of the device. The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus feature many improvements that make it easier than ever to send emails, text, take pictures and more. If you’re thinking about picking up an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, or if you already have one, here are five tips and tricks to get you started on your new device

No. 1: Copy text

Copying text is a feature that many of us take for granted. You can copy text from any app, like Safari or a Facebook post, by pressing down on it with your finger and then tapping the arrow icon in the top right corner. The copied text will appear in the bottom left box of your screen; you can either paste it into another app or edit it before pasting it. To cut the copied text, hold down on it until an x appears in the lower left corner, which means that you can now delete it. No. 2: Tap-to-focus: Tap-to-focus allows users to change their focus point easily when taking a photo or video with the rear camera. To do this, just tap anywhere on your screen and adjust as needed

No. 2: Restart your phone fast

If your phone is acting up, then a quick restart is all you need! Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until you see the red slider. Press the slider, and wait for your device to turn off. After it shuts down, press the Sleep/Wake button again to turn it back on. You'll feel like a new person (and so will your phone)!

No. 3: Text while you’re on a call

One of the most popular features is the ability to text on an iPhone while you're on a call. This is perfect for those times when you want to take a quick break from talking, or if you need to send someone a message but don't want them hearing your conversation. You can use this feature by pressing one finger against the home button, then using another finger to type out what you need to say. The other person on the call will not be able to see what you're typing out unless they happen to look at their phone's screen as well.

No. 4: Use Siri in many ways

With Siri, you can do many things on your phone without having to touch it. You can set reminders, send a text message, call a contact, find directions or even get the weather forecast. The best part is that you don't need to use any words. All you have to do is hold down the home button while your phone is awake and then wait for Siri to activate. When she does, just say what you want her to do with her voice recognition software powering the process. For example, if you want her to call someone in your contacts list, just tell her call John Doe.

No. 5: Quickly find lost passwords

If you ever misplace your password, don't worry! It's just a few clicks away. Simply go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will be prompted for your Apple ID account name and password. If you can't remember these, that's okay; the system will let you use an alternate method of identification like your security questions or another email address associated with your Apple ID account. Once this is done, the settings on your phone will revert back to factory defaults and all of your passwords are erased. Your data will remain intact, but make sure you set up a new password when you log back in so no one can access it if they get their hands on your phone.
